To be successful in this role you must have:
  • University degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or other relevant technical degree) and or a university degree in Law.
  • 3+ year experience in procuring material contracts for Renewable Energy projects, such as Turbine or Module Supply agreements, EPC agreements for Balance of Plant or Balance of System, Operations & Maintenance agreements.
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
  • Good communication skills and experience in working with multiple suppliers.
  • Self – starter with a proven ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English.
  • Good judgment and ability to make sound decisions.
  • Understanding of cultural differences.
  • Experience in contractual dynamics and having good administrative skills.

Your responsibilities

As Contract Management Leader you will lead and manage the contracting of Renewable Energy construction- and operational agreements. You will contribute to the growth and secure sustained profitability of the business, through good coordination in developing and protecting the material and informational resources of the company.

More specifically, this means you will:

  • Lead and coordinate the contract management of material contracts, such as: i) supply agreements for wind turbines, solar PV main equipment and Batteries, ii) EPC agreements for installation and balance of plant works, iii) operations and maintenance agreements for wind, solar and battery technology.
  • Develop, implement and maintain contract management strategy for material construction and operational contracts.
  • Create and maintain good insight in the contract status, terms and conditions to ensure smooth transitioning into operations.
  • Effectively manage relations with equipment manufacturers, service providers and other stakeholders involved in the final development and preparation for construction of renewable energy projects.
  • Coordinate the team involved in contracting such agreements, both internal and externally.
  • Resolve commercial issues, including variations and claims and steer escalation, if needed.
  • Secure and coordinate agreements are in compliance with (local) legislation and key terms are being transitioned into the operational organization.
  • Deliver subject matter expertise and guidance in the procurement process to provide support and secure operational excellence.
  • Support improvement and implementation of standardized and automated ways of working in line with the Renewable Energy Portfolio direction.
