To enable us to achieve our vision, we are currently recruiting a Financial Director to join our dynamic Finance
Team.
Key responsibilities include:
Analyze revenue and budget/cost, and establish efficient accounting indicators.
Operate financial resources to ensure operational success through compliance with all contract and
operational requirements, and produce results.
Determine accurate and timely transactions of monthly construction progress invoices including
outstanding payments [subcontractors] and outstanding payments [customers].
Establish a financing plan for budget expenditure.
Maximize productivity and manage the performance of monthly construction site costs for purchases and
prices.
Detailed projects, sites, and cost centers are carefully estimated and determined.
Develop expertise and be systems owner for financial reporting tools and applications
Analyse and interpret sub-contractor performance and results, providing high quality information and
feedback to CEO
Identify and implement opportunities for improvement and streamlining of cost control processes and
workflows
Job requirements
Essential Skills & Experience: T Minimum 7 years experience in Management/Cost Accounting in New Zealand
or overseas T Minimum 5 years experience as a Chief Manager/Director. T Familiar with the reporting to
CEO and all the financial process T Relevant tertiary qualification in accounting or related field T Advanced
knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial systems T Solid accounting knowledge and ability to
provide Balance Sheet & Cash Flow Sheet Reconciliations T Sound technical and analytical skills T Excellent
written and verbal communication skills
