Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Description: PAS - Nashville is presently looking of Clinical Appeals Collections Team Lead (Nashville) - FT right now, this career will be assigned in Tennessee. More details about this career opportunity kindly see the descriptions. DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
•

Maintain established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, patien! t, and customer service policies

•

Handle difficult patient and third party follow-up problems

•

Review accounts recommended for write-off to ensure accounts have aged as determined by

corporate/guidelines

•

Review accounts in bankruptcy

•

Review agency and attorney performance reports

•

Assist team members with questions, concerns, and complaints from insurance companies, patients, and other

personnel

•

Work as a liaison between team members and PAS staff

•

Assist with payroll activities for team members (i.e., time cards, edit sheets)

•

Establish working relationships with individuals at insurance companies

•

Assist manager with developing team goals and action plans

•

Assist with training of new team members

•

Practice and adhere to the ! “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Stat! ement”

•

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

•

Communication - communicates clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing

Interpersonal skills - able to work effectively with other employees, patients and external parties

Basic skills - able to perform basic mathematical calculations, balance and reconcile figures, punctuate

properly, spell correctly and transcribe accurately

EDUCATION

High school diploma or GED required

EXPERIENCE

•

At least one year of collections experience required

•

Prior supervisory experience preferred
