DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: * Maintain establ! ished departmental policies and procedures, objectives, patient, and customer service policies* Handle difficult patient and third party follow-up problems* Review accounts recommended for write-off to ensure accounts have aged as determined bycorporate/guidelines* Review accounts in bankruptcy* Review agency and attorney performance reports* Assist team members with questions, concerns, and complaints from insurance companies, patients, and otherpersonnel* Work as a liaison between team members and PAS staff* Assist with payroll activities for team members (i.e., time cards, edit sheets)* Establish working relationships with individuals at insurance companies* Assist manager with developing team goals and action plans* Assist with training of new team members* Practice and adhere to the "Code of Conduct" philosophy and "Mission and Value Statement"* Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES* Communication - communicates clearly and concisely, verbally and ! in writing* Customer orientation - establishes and maintains l! ong-term customer relationships, building trust and respect byconsistently meeting and exceeding expectations* Interpersonal skills - able to work effectively with other employees, patients and external parties* PC skills - demonstrates proficiency in PC applications as required* Policies & Procedures - demonstrates knowledge and understanding of organizational policies, procedures andsystems* Basic skills - able to perform basic mathematical calculations, balance and reconcile figures, punctuateproperly, spell correctly and transcribe accuratelyEDUCATION* High school diploma or GED requiredEXPERIENCE* At least one year of collections experience required* Prior supervisory experience preferred Parallon
