Due to growth, our local client is seeking a Senior Electrica! l Hardware Design Engineer to add to their team.
The job duties for this position, include, but are not limited to: Plans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates assigned engineering work and projects independently. Devise new approaches to problems, and prepare or modify drawings, specifications, calculations, charts and graphs, and monitor work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices, customer’s specifications, and standards.
To be considered for this opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline, and over ten (10) years of experience with advance knowledge in electrical engineering, OR Master of Science in an engineering discipline, and over nine (9) years of experience with advance technical knowledge in electrical engineering.
- 10+ years’ experience in mixed signal embedded systems design for data acquisition systems.
- Experience designin! g embedded systems using microprocessors and microcontrollers,! ADC, DACs, and analog filter circuits.
- Thorough knowledge of electrical design and engineering techniques, as well as CAD and graphics skills
- Ability to judge the evaluation, selection, application and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures and criteria.
- FPGA design experience. Use of Xilinx or Altera parts is a plus.
- Must have PCB layout experience. Knowledge of Protel or Altium is a plus.
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office and other operating systems.
