Are you a senior HR professional known for your ability to deliver? We are seeking a highly capable and experienced generalist to join our fantastic team, and help us deliver on our People Framework. People Experience work within the local government environment offers a varied, fast paced, often challenging and complex workload.
You will be working with and supporting our line managers in the art of People Experience best practice across the employment life-cycle from recruitment, performance, remuneration and so on. Possessing the right attitude and being passionate about the people side of the business, you'll require resilience and the ability to be reflective in your practice.

To be successful in this role you will have:
- Be keen to be part of our journey focussed on creating a more effective and engaged workforce
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources
- 5+ years minimum working in HR
- Knowledge of employment legislation and employee relations and the skills to pass this knowledge on
- Expertise in the use of software applications including but not limited to Microsoft suite and ideally ELMO, x-Ref
- Public sector experience desirable
- An innovative and proactive approach to solving problems
- A flexible and adaptable approach
- The ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast paced environment
