PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

Description: The Judge Group is at present looking to employ PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR right now, this position will be situated in Tennessee. Detailed specification about this position opportunity kindly read the description below. Fortune 100 food manufacturing company is searching for a Production Supervisor. Must have a Bachelor's Degree, preferrably in engineering, with 3+ years of experience as a Production Super! visor in food/beverage manfuacturing. Highly prefer dairy experience. Must be open to an off shift. Must have lean manufacturing background (six sigma/TPM).
Will be accountable for the productivity of the site during off-shifts. This requires contacting appropriate resources for issue resolution providing alternative duties in the event of breakdown or material shortage monitoring general performance and behavior of employees and adjusting crewing or call in replacements as necessary. This requires interfacing with Facilities Support Material Planning Quality Support Warehouse and other department supervisors to ensure efficient operation to meet plant goals.
Facilitating required training programs to employees.
Regularly cascading/communicating site targets and goals from the Leadership Team to shift crews
Participating in the development of the annual site manufacturing budget and controlling fixed and variable cost expenditures.
Managing the operational costs of assigned shift including controlling overtime absenteeism production output among others to ensure a cost competitive operation
Upgrading of employee skills and competencies.
