Behavior Analyst

Program Overview

Whether that means providing services to keep struggling families together, helping adults be better parents or helping children transition to a new home environment, the needs of the children remain paramount. We have been providing quality, in-home services for thousands of children and families in Tennessee since 2000. The result is safer, happier home lives for the families we serve.

Position Overview
We have immediate openings for PRN Board Certified Behavior Analysts to provide a variety of behavioral health services to clients and client families in Middle and Eastern Tennessee. Interacts with families in person and on the phone. Works closely with ref! erring case workers from several referral sources, including D! epartment of Childrens Services (DCS), other agencies, residential facilities, attorneys, etc. Utilizes community resources and knowledge thereof to meet the specific needs of each case. Testifies in court regarding case work when subpoenaed. Assists in marketing SequelCare of Tennessees services to referral sources and individuals.

Job Duties:
Meets Programmatic Standards.
Strategizes with supervisor on how to most effectively work cases.
Produces and maintains records of all cases, in accordance with programmatic expectations and policies. Documents sessions/meetings/court in a professional, concise manner noting progress toward service/treatment plans.
Interfaces with the Program Director regarding programmatic and quality assurance issues.
Provides a variety of social services, including: individual, family, and group counseling: communication skills, assertiveness skills, anger management skills, coping skills, depression, anx! iety, loss, grief, parenting education, positive discipline, alcohol and drug education with relapse prevention, sexual abuse, physical abuse, domestic violence, and codependency, therapeutic or supervised visitations between foster placed children and birth parents, and transportation of client/siblings/family members as authorized.
Advocate and provide service linking for clients and families.
Attend court, foster care review board meetings, child and family team meetings, and Individual Education Plan meetings as needed.
Develop service/treatment plans specific to identified client/family needs on a case by case basis using specific, time measurable goals and objectives.
Attends required trainings designated by the Program Director, Operation Director, Executive Director and/or Sequel.
Provides on-call, crisis intervention when requested.
Maintain strict client confidentiality, safeguard client PHI (protected health information), abide by all corp! orate policies regarding confidentiality and protection of client data ! and uphold all HIPAA regulations.

Requires a minimum of a Masters degree and BCBA certification from the BACB.
Must have been certified for at least one year (12 months).
Also requires at least one year of related experience.
Demonstrates expertise in a variety of methods of working with families and children.
Is proficient in the knowledge of programmatic expectations.
Accreditation as a provider with TennCare (ValueOptions, AmeriChoice and/or AmeriGroup) a plus, but not required.
Home office to include Microsoft Word; faxing capabilities; reliable transportation; cell phone .
