Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Description: Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is at present looking to employ Paralegal II right now, this job will be delegated in Tennessee. The Paralegal II will be responsible for assisting attorneys within BATO Commercial Tire legal department performing general paralegal duties. In addition to general paralegal support, the team! mate will have responsibility for managing franchise administration as well as performing general contracts review and management. This position reports to the Commercial Tire Associate General Counsel supporting the Commercial Tire Associate General Counsel and the two Commercial Tire attorneys.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage franchise administration collaborating with internal and external contacts to ensure seamless annual filings and renewals.
Support the review, negotiation, and compliance for franchise agreements.
Perform and assist in contract review, revisions, or negotiation of various types of agreements and contracts such as sales contracts, purchasing and procurement contracts, service contracts, non-disclosure agreements etc. for accuracy, identifying issues and compliance .
Prepare legal correspondence, and organize and maintain documents and customer files in paper or electronic filing system.
Maintain corporate books e! nsuring they are up to date.
Assist with gathering and org! anizing information and in responding to Supplier certifications and RFPs.
Gather and analyze research data, such as statutes, decisions, and legal articles, codes, and documents.
Provide legal administrative support to all within department.
Other duties as needed.
Requirements

Bachelors Degree with 5+ years (preferred) of paralegal experience and proven knowledge of contract review, etc.
Experience with franchise operations also preferred, but not required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Highly organized and proven skill in prioritizing workload.
Team player who supports group and works with the larger department.
Self-starter who takes initiative and can work independently.
Excellent communication both written and verbal.
Ability to maintain highly confidential information.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and bring matters to resolution by set deadlines.
