As Admissions Representative, you will play an integral role in the recruitment and enrollment of potential students as you make outbound calls, get to know each student, match them with the appropriate curriculum/program for their specific educational goals, and then guide them through the enrollment, financial aid and other key processes. The Requirements
This is an entry level position, and ! the ideal candidate for this role will have some consultative sales experience, but we will also consider outgoing and energetic professionals with limited experience who are articulate on the phone and well-versed at building relationships. To be a good fit for this opportunity you should have:

An associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

1-3 years of experience in sales or business development. Experience in telemarketing, the non-profit sector, and/or consultative sales could all be a great fit.

Excellent customer service skills and a good phone presence.

The ability to work independently and in a group setting.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Computer proficiency using Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Familiarity with a CRM system is preferred.

Use of a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, an! d proof of insurance.

Experience with College Admissions, Fina! ncial Aid, Student Services, Education and Career Placement departments is also a plus.

The Role
Reporting to the Director of Admissions, you will join a team of seven Admissions Representatives. As Admissions Representative, your mission will be to actively support and contribute to the recruitment and enrollment of new students from all sourcesâ€"including high schools, alternative schools, adult basic education centers, the general public, etc. In essence, the role is two-fold and your key initiatives will be to support recruiting and enrollment activities, and interview and build rela! tionships with prospective students. You will work to uncover the needs of each student, determining how their educational aspirations fit into the programs we have. You’ll work through various obstacles and employ a consultative approach to your interactions.

The majority of your work will be conducted via phone, and you can expect to make approximately 100-120 outbound calls a day. You’ll balance your call load by also collecting leads from the website and referrals as well. Additionally, you’ll need to be an active participant in proactively uncovering leads autonomously by attending student recruitment fairs, networking events, career fairs and more. This is a hands-on role where you will work with potential students throughout the entire processâ€"from the initial phone call to ensuring they are filling out the required forms and paperwork needed to enroll in the program and qualify for financial aid.

Specifically, you will:
Conduct c! ampus tours to showcase the campus’ offerings and introduce students ! to school administrators, faculty and students.

Consult with prospective students on the benefits of Delta Education’s programs and services.

Ensure prospective students complete all required enrollment forms (e.g., Enrollment Agreement, Application for Admissions, Transcript Request, Health, Financial Aid, etc.).

Assist with and attend orientation of new students to ensure a positive start to their educational experience with Delta Education.

Pursue qualified candidates for enrollment to determine fit with Delta Education based on career goal compatibility.

Schedule and conduct interviews (in person and via phone) with qualified applicants to educate applicants on campus offerings and programs.

Accurately and completely explain educational programs, expected outcomes, student services, and financial considerations to students, parents, and educators.

Conduct follow-up meetings with all applicants to ensure on! -going interest and successful enrollment.

You will also need to be willing and able to work some evenings and every other Saturday as needed. Saturday shifts are typically from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
