SUMMARY Partners with Sr. Commercial Credit Executive to manage the portfolio to meet quality and profitability objectives and to minimize risk and loss.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Works with the Special Assets, Loan, Construction, Appraisal and OREO Departments

Works with lending personnel and borrowers to better secure collateral and/or assets of the borrower

Reviews and works with large-size loans of high complexity

Assists in the evaluation of loan loss reserve adequacy and establish specific reserves as needed

Assists Sr. Credit Executive, as directed, in development of individual and department reports to Senior Management and other parties

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Exercises the usual authority of a manager concerning hiring, staffing, training, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations and terminations. Provides leadership by example at all times, through support and endorsement of bank policy.

CONTROL RELATED RESPONSIBILITIES Become knowledgeable regarding the department's internal controls as outlined in the policies and procedures and comply with all control requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requires a bachelor's degree in finance, business, accounting or related field.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in lending and/or credit administration.

Minimum of 5 years in a management level position.

Extensive experience in formal credit analysis and banking regulations.

Knowledge and experience in multiple product lines is critical.

Strong organizational skills and experience in working independently to solve problems required.

Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals; decisive and strong decision maker; a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Knowledge of Jack Henry/Silverlake processing system and Lien Law required.

Extremely strong communication and negotiating skills.

Ability to effectively interact with clients, attorneys, outside professionals, outside regulators and Bank Personnel, Senior Management and Board of Directors required.

Ability to prioritize effectively and meet aggressive deadlines while paying meticulous attention to detail required.

Ability to multi-task.

Skilled in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc).
