Delek US Holdings, Inc. is an integrated downstream energy business focused on petroleum refining, the wholesale distribution of refined products and convenience store retailing. The refining segment consists of refineries operated in Tyler, Texas and El Dorado, Arkansas with a combined nameplate production capacity of 140,000 barrels per day. The marketing and supply segment markets refined products through a series of owned and third-party product terminals and pipelines. The retail segment supplies fuels and merchandise through a network of approximately 390 company-operated convenience store locations operated under the MAPCO Express®, MAPCO Mart®, East Coast®, Fast Food and Fuel™, Favorite Markets®, Delta Express® and Discount Food Mart™ brand names.

Key Responsibilities:
Investigation, evaluation and coordination of liability and property insurance claims and associated payment processing. Backup to the Senior Claims Manager of the investigation, evaluation and coordination of workers compensation claims. Maintenance and administration of all insurance-related accounting functions. Design and maintenance of the risk management information systems, including vendor certificates of insurance. Design of insurance provisions in vendor contracts review process, including development of template insurance provisions and insurance certificates to support it. Design and implementation of reports to management. Assisting in information gathering to support and the administration of the insurance programs of the company.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in Insurance, Accounting or Finance 3-5 years of appropriate property/casualty insurance or risk management experience, including 1-3 years of claims handling. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Risk Management Information Systems and Data Base Management.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Ability to actively lead a team of adjusters, attorneys and investigators. Ability to effectively convey risk management and claim philosophy to both internal and external parties. Ability to work cross functional and maintain an effective working relationship with other groups including Human Resources, Safety, Accounting, Operational Management and Legal. Strong analytical skills with acute mathematical/actuarial skills. Working knowledge of the many varied available insurance and alternative risk-financing production including traditional fully insured plans. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
