The Stand Restaurants is a fast-casual dining restaurant with 18 locations across Orange County, Los Angeles, and Houston Texas. We are growing fast, with plans to open 3-4 new locations per year. No restaurant experience is required! All you need is your smile and a great attitude and we’ll teach you the rest.

We’re Looking for Cashiers that have the following Qualification:

Things you can expect to do while working as a cashier

  • Greeting guests
  • Taking orders at the register
  • Promoting our Stand App so our guests can get rewards
  • Cashiering
  • Running orders to guests
  • Keeping the restaurant clean and organized
  • Baking cookies and brownies
  • Portioning sauces and our amazing pickles
  • Following all cash management and cash register policies and ensuring proper cash management practices are followed
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written
  • Preparing food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
  • Following recipes and presentation specifications
  • Ability to use restaurant tools and equipment
  • Cleaning and maintaining restaurants by practicing good safety and sanitation
  • Must be 21 years of age or older

Working Conditions

  • Frequent walking and standing for long periods of time
  • Ability to reach hands and arms in any direction and kneel and stoop repeatedly
  • Repetitive bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
  • Repetitive use of hands, including single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling
  • Occasionally access high storage shelving with the use of a step ladder
  • Lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
  • Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals
  • Exposure to varying temperatures, including freezers, refrigerators, indoor air conditioning and outdoor/patio conditions

Schedule

  • Full-time and part-time hours available
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

Compensation

  • Competitive Pay
  • Participation in The Stand tip pool, with average tips of approximately $3 - $5 per hour
