Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell and Berkowitz, PC has an immediate opening for a Legal Secretary in its Nashville office.
The ideal candidate will have! 5+ years of experience as a legal secretary, have administrative experience, exceptional communication and organization skills, the ability to work effectively within a group or independently, have federal e-filing knowledge, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel and type a minimum of 65 words per minute with high accuracy. The candidate must be a self-starter, detail oriented and able to work well in a fast paced environment. This position will support several attorneys; litigation experience a plus. Responsibilities include preparing legal documents and correspondence, court filings, scanning, coordinating meetings, time entry, digital transcription, running conflicts, opening and maintaining client files, processing client bills and expense reimbursements.
