The Position: Wacker is seeking a seasoned attorney possessing considerable experience to join its legal team located at its Charleston, Tennessee facility. The successful candidate will report to Wacker's Vice President, Legal and will be responsible for various legal matters including drafting and negotiating agreements and handling issues relating to those agreements, and interacting with project management, procurement, and various other team members and management personnel at WACKER. Additional focus of this attorney will include supply agreements, insurance/risk management issues, business and commercial transactions, corporate governance, sales, purchase and distribution agreements, human resource agreements, employment disputes and other corporate legal matters which may arise as w! ell as overseeing use of outside counsel.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience.
Experience: The successful candidate will have 8+ years of legal experience as well as experience in procurement la! ws, engineering and construction contracts, the Uniform Commercial Code, business and commercial transactions, corporate governance, sales, purchase/supply and distribution agreements and other corporate legal matters. Candidates must have demonstrated leadership and organizational skills, as well as creative problem-solving techniques and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Although prior in-house experience is not a prerequisite, it is strongly preferred.
