Capital Assets Assistant Operations Manager

Location: Memphis, Tennessee

Description: First Horizon is in need of Capital Assets Assistant Operations Manager right now, this career will be presented in Tennessee. The AOM is responsible for overseeing the due diligence and loan trading activities on a daily basis working closely with the due diligence underwr! iters, the agencies and any private buyers, the client and the Operations Manager.

Primary Responsibilities:
1. Manage the daily activities of Portfolio Analysts and Shipping personnel.
2. Work with staff to review all bottom lines and finalize the preparation of the report for trader's review.
3. Negotiate with agency all credit waivers and obtain non-standard document approval when needed.
4. Interact with trader and account on corrective action program.
5. be available to answer Portfolio Analyst questions
Re: underwriting, legal issues, etc

Secondary Responsibilities:
1. Ability to negotiate contracts with sellers and their attorneys.
2. Ability to handle funding of deals and reconciliation of funds.

Requirements

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Have working knowledge of FNMA/FHLMC underwriting guidelines including all current updates.
  • Four year! college or two year associates degree in business preferably ! with a concentration in finance or equivalent experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Working knowledge of mortgage and consumer loan terms and products a plus.
  • Ability to maintain flexibility and good attitude for various tasks both in the office and outside FTN.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written
