Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Description: Avertest is at present looking to employ Laboratory/Office Manager right now, this position will be reside in Tennessee. SUMMARY Avertest, a multi-location forensic drug screening service provider, is seeking a highly motivated individual to assist with daily management and operations. T! his position is designed to allow for career advancement and will report directly to the General Manager. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Regular interactions with customers to include judges, prosecutor, probation officers, and treatment counselors Laboratory staff management and supervision Specimen collection Specimen analysis Result reporting Candidate interviewing Site coordination with the Corporate office KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Previous experience managing in a laboratory setting is preferred Working knowledge of drug and treatment courts Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Ability to multi-task Ability to work independently as well as in a team Ability to interact with court officials on a professional level Ability to maintain a high level of organization Skill in attention to detail Skill in the use of computers to include applications such as Excel, Word, and E! -mail Supervisory and management skills REQUIRED QUALIFICATION! S: An Associate ’s degree in healthcare or criminal justice and 3-5 years of experience is preferred. Experience managing a forensic toxicology laboratory is a plus. Previous experience working in a laboratory is required to perform this job successfully. COMPENSATION: $40,000-$45,000 annual base salary.
