Director, Settlement, Negotiation and Provider Interaction The candidate will lead team of investigators and legal profession! als to optimize client settlements. Will interact with Recovery Services to ensure timely recovery of settlement amounts. Partner with clients and recovery services to maximize offset recoveries while minimizing provider abrasion. Ensure timely and accurate reporting for cases with theories of Fraud or Abuse to appropriate government entities.
Interact with matrix partners and various stakeholders while a member of FWA leadership team. Ensure organizational adoption of offset policies, timeliness requirements and operational excellence of settlement process. Partner with leadership of Fraud, Abuse and Waste / Error operations to ensure quality of incoming claims / cases to maximize minimize rework and maximize settlement and recovery operations. Partner with firm FWA legal and outside counsel on arbitration and civil litigation cases.
Deliver continuous improvement in settlement negotiated percentages and reduction in recovery cycle times through process i! mprovements and provider relationships. Should have an Undergr! aduate degree or equivalent. A J.D. degree preferred.
Must have 10+ years of industry experience. Experience in insurance industry preferred.
