MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

Further informations about this position opportunity kindly see the descriptions. Large Food Manufacturing company is searching for a Maintenance Supervisor. Must have a BS/BA pref in Engineering but not mandatory. Must have 3 years of Maintenance Supervisory experience out of a food, beverage o! r consumer packaged manufacturing company. Prefer ammonia refrigeration knowledge/experience. This will be a first shift position but must be flexible as needed to cover shifts. Mainly Monday thru Friday but some weekends throughout the year. Must have solid PLC skills. Should have experience with lean manufacturing, TPM or continuous improvement initiatives. Must have CMMS experience.
Will lead the planning process development and implementation of Planned Maintenance Elements in a Continuous Improvement manufacturing environment through teams consisting of various technical and non-technical personnel and key support contractors. Will manage and maintain the site CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Develops, issues and controls work orders. Assigns personnel, material and outside resources for preventative, predictive and reactive work on the production floor.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan Preventive, Corrective and Planned! Maintenance with special attention paid to all regulatory req! uirements that may apply. This includes, but is not limited to OSHA guidelines, FDA regulations and state and local environmental regulations
- Develop short term and long term maintenance plans and monitor the execution of the plans
- Interact with suppliers and other factories to upgrade equipment/ parts and process, helping reduce cost and increase efficiency
- Perform Breakdown Analysis or use other Analysis tools to identify root cause for repetitive breakdowns or other losses
- Responsible for maintaining, correcting, and updating the database associated with job plans, preventive maintenance plans, Audits, and other related procedures. Responsible for verifying that work order data fields associated with preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance is entered into the system correctly.
