Working in tandem with the Library and Information Services team, the Business Research Analyst will conduct research using online and print resources on specific clients, prospects, markets industries and competitors and other business development-related topics; develop analysis and briefing reports that synthesize the collected research data into actionable information; monitor and distribute news summaries of the firms key clients, competitors, industries and other selected topics; track incoming research requests; work with the business development team to demonstrate ROI on activities; and assist in the evaluation and selection of business and news information resources. The successful candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Marketing or Marketing Research, with coursework in Library or Information Sciences preferred; a minimum of 2 years relevant experience, preferably in a virtual setting; and proficiency with online news, business and industry resources such as LexisNexis, Westlaw and Bloomberg. Candidate should have the ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing, be a team player with excellent customer service skills who can work independently with limited supervision, have strong organizational skills with the ability and flexibility to meet multiple and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment, have strong attention to detail and accuracy, as well as keen problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions.Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
