Performs administrative and support services for Sarah Cannon’s Legal and Compliance Departments ("the Departments").DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Provides administrative support for the Departments including typing, composing and proofreading correspondence, indexing and filing documents. Transcribes letters, creates power point presentations, newsletters and other correspondence for the Departments, as needed. Answers inquiries or refers callers/visitors to appropriate individuals. Compiles reports from data and existing records.

Proofreads documents, presentations and other basic correspondence for formatting consistency and errors. Assists in finalization of new policies from drafts and posting and maintenance of polices on company systems. Create and update training binders for field staff Notarizes documents for Departments and other Sarah Cannon employees, as needed. Maintains timesheets and expense reports for attorneys, paralegals and other professional staff members of the Departments.

Handles various administrative details for Departments with initiative and good judgment. Delivers mail to members of the Departments. Scans agreements into contract databases for the Departments, Provides assistance with Code of Conduct presentations. Ensures Ethics and Compliance binders remain updated with all policy changes Ensures adequacy of office supplies and equipment and places orders supplies/equipment for the Departments, as needed.

Schedules and coordinates meetings, appointments and calendars for attorneys and directors. Makes travel arrangements attorneys and other professional staff members of the Departments.. Attends meetings as assigned, takes minutes and reports on actions, as needed Participates in educational activities and programs. Assigns, tracks and reports on status of required staff training as outlined by Sarah Cannon Maintains strictest confidentiality.

Assists other staff as requested and performs other related work, as needed. Practices and adheres to the "Code of Conduct" philosophy and "Mission and Value Statement". Completes all assigned training requirements by the due date. Proven ability to multi-task in fast paced environment is essential.

Proven ability to proofread documents, presentations and other basic correspondence for formatting consistency and grammatical and/or formatting errors. Knowledge of organization policies, procedures, systems Knowledge of office management practices. Knowledge of administrative assistant procedures. Knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation to type from draft copy.

Knowledge of basic arithmetic to make calculations, balance and reconcile figures, and make changes accurately. Skill in computer applications. Skill in verbal and written communication. Skill in gathering and reporting information.

Ability to organize and handle multiple projects. Ability to work effectively with staff, and other internal and external personnel. Willingness to become a Notary. Willingness to become trained in WebEx, company software and Survey Monkey.

Willingness to become trained in reviewing and preparing basic legal documents, such as confidentiality agreements. Willingness to learn and understand content of compliance policies to assist with projects. EDUCATION Associate degree in business administration or administrative support program is preferred.EXPERIENCE Three years of administrative support experience. Appropriate education may be substituted for partial experience.

One year experience working in a health care organization, preferred. Proven experience in using MS Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook).
