Onsite Telephonic Nurse Case Manager

Description: CorVel Corporation is hiring Onsite Telephonic Nurse Case Manager right now, this vacancy will be placed in Tennessee. Further informations about this vacancy opportunity please read the description below. (RN) to work at office in Cool Springs. The TCM will be working along side staff of claims adjusters to review all incoming first reports of injury from employers for Tennessee claims. TCM will triage all notices to identify red flags appropriate for further medical case management intervention.
Essential Job Duties:
Work within our proprietary softw! are program and responsible for assessment, planning and coordination of timely and appropriate medical services for injured/disabled individuals. The TCM collaborates with claims professionals, injured workers, employers, medical providers and attorneys to facilitate successful outcomes for recovery and return to work. Responsible for cost containment and timely documentation.
Education/Training Requirements:
Current TN RN license required. Strong clinical background to include critical care, orthopedics and/or home health. Utilization review experience desired. Workers compensation or group health case management experience desired.
