I. Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Dental Department Supervisor, the Dental Receptionist’s responsibilities involve managing consumers, visitors, telephone messages, and making calls in a professional and efficient manner. In addition to this, a receptionisthas to perform various clerical duties, which support the presentation and operation of HCHC. The receptionist is responsible to assist customers in a smooth and efficient manner, to adhere to all protocols in line with our organization's goals, strategy, and values. Receptionists are fundamental to HCHC as they present the first and foremost impression of an organization to customers and clients.
II. Skills and Specifications:
1. Fluency in English and Cantonese/Mandarin is required.
2. At least 3 years of prior administrative or clerical experience in a clinical or community-based dental setting is highly preferred.
3. Ability to communicate with patients and understand their problems.
4. Knowledge and experience of dental practice required.
5. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills required; ability to relate and communicate well with a diverse patient population.
6. Ability to demonstrate strong organization skills, detailed-oriented, ability to multi-task, and strong work ethic. Must be able to work well in a past-paced and customer-driven environment.
7. Flexibility with work schedules and sites required.
8. Ability to work individually and within a team setting.
9. Proficient in operating a PC-based computer system and basic office software.
10. Must be punctual and dependable
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
