Post-Edit Transcription Project For German Speakers. 4-6 week project.
We are currently seeking Post-Editors to join our team for a German transcription project (de_DE). In this role, you will be responsible for post-editing already transcribed media files from a variety of sources, including YouTube, to expedite the transcription process for subsequent volumes. The workload involves post-editing of 1 speech hour, which takes approximately 4 working hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Post-edit already-transcribed media files to ensure accuracy and completeness of the transcript
Pay special attention to non-speech parts of the audio
Meet or exceed productivity targets
Provide feedback to the transcription team to help improve accuracy and efficiency
Requirements:
Native-level fluency in German
Excellent editing and proofreading skills
Previous experience in transcription, translation, or editing
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Commitment to work a minimum of 15 hours per week for the full duration of the project (approximately 6 weeks)
Access to a computer with reliable internet connection and headphones
Must pass a test to demonstrate proficiency in transcription
Job Type: Freelance/Contract

Pay Rate: 60 USD per speech hour completed and approved
