Burr & Forman LLP is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time corporate legal secretary in its Nashville, Tennessee office. The successful candidate will assist attorneys and paralegals through the perform! ance of complex secretarial duties requiring a knowledge of legal terminology and the legal process. We prefer a minimum 3 years experience as a corporate legal secretary in a law firm or corporate legal department environment. Experience in banking/real estate and insurance regulatory/government affairs transactions is also preferred.
Requires excellent secretarial skills and knowledge of grammar, spelling, basic math, and punctuation. Must be proficient in MS Word and use of transcription equipment. Prefer at least 70 wpm typing (55 wpm minimum). EOE.
