Accountabilities:
As a member of the Recreational Boat Group HR leadership team, contribute to the development of business plans and targets and to working with the other Boat Group HR Leaders in the execution of the Group’s HR plans

Drive and further establish continued positive employee relations in order to ensure the Tellico (Vonore, TN) Operation remains trade union free

Manage the Brunswick talent review process for Sea Ray / Bayliner and establish the activities that will develop the leaders required to deliver business results now and in the future

Build strong networks across Freshwater and Recreational Boat Groups and other Brunswick HR populations to leverage the capabilities and processes in Human Resources Management and Health & Safety and externally in order to drive best fitting initiatives for our Tellic! o plant (Vonore, TN)

Develop and deliver strategic co! mmunication plans and activities that articulate the business objectives, plans, budgets and performance in order to maximize the individual and collective contributions to continuously improve the performance of the business

Champion and drive the implementation of the company health & safety policy and management systems at the Tellico plant to ensure that business operations are only performed if they can be done safely and in an environmentally sound manner

Own and strategize organizational development, by establishing and continually reviewing the Sea Ray / Bayliner organization size and structure through a common application of manpower planning/sizing (standard hours) criteria; and ensure best practice selection processes are deployed to deliver the right people in the right place at the right time

Manage a performance focused organization (through Performance Management Plan), where people are aware of their part in delivering the business! plans, and where objective setting, coaching and performance review processes are in place for all salaried employees

Strategically identify and drive training needs (hourly and salaried) through delivery of training and evaluation of the training outcomes

Ensure that the business complies with relevant local employment and safety legislative frameworks (including APP) in the state it operates within

Build a high performing team working culture throughout the business that recognizes and rewards excellence and encourages performance improvement

As ethics counselor, act as employee advocate and champion of the Brunswick ethics and business values program ensuring that all employees clearly adhere to the ethics code, refreshing as necessary and driving the ethical behavior required on a daily basis

Oversee employee compensation and benefits issues including processing reports, interfacing with insurance personnel and attorneys â€"! to maximize the motivation and commitment for people to deliver requir! ed results

Job Requirements:
What you bring to our winning Human Resources team:
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Management or Business. Masters degree strongly preferred

3-5 Years Experience in Human Resources Management

Strong non-union / union avoid avoidance experience in a Manufacturing environment

Strong employee relations experience and knowledge of state and federal employment laws
