Works independently and with attorneys to respond to governmental agency investigations and attorney letters related to employment claim! s by employees of affiliated employers. Works independently and with attorneys to assist outside counsel in defending employment litigation filed against affiliated employers.
Major Responsibilities:
50% = Preparation of responses to state and federal discrimination or wrongful discharge claims submitted by employees
35% = Preparation of litigation hold notices related to employment claims filed with state and federal agencies or in state or federal court.
15% = Providing general support concerning the defense of various state and federal litigation
Experience:
Five to seven years paralegal experience
Education:
College graduate preferred
Paralegal Certification or comparable (e.g., law school graduate or law license)
