Description:
The Recovery Manager will have oversight of the Recovery Vendor Manager and Recovery Supervisor of in-house collections and will manage 3rd party vendors (agencies and attorney's) responsible for the collection of charged off inventory placed with their Company. He/She will also monitor monthly performance reviews for each attorney or vendor to insure proper collection activities and discuss performance trends and closely monitor vendor performance and professionally convey performance expectations.
Additional responsibilities will include:
- Developing placement and recall strategies based on performance. ~ Integral in vendor selection process. ~ Supervising the day to day activities in the In-House Recovery Collections Department. ~ Responsible for oversight for in- house collections strategies, working to ensure performance meets high standards for quality and customer service and protecting the assets of the bank.
- Oversight for the management of charged off account inventory and establishes guidelines to insure proper placement either with 3rd party collection agency, attorney, or in-house recovery collection team.
- Evaluating agency and attorney performance on placed inventory, continually and consistently analyzes collection rates and productivity trends for each vendor.
- Is expected to modify the mix of channels and agency placements based on analysis of results to optimize collection rates.
- Developing an agency management strategy to include agency selection, establishing performance benchmarks and creating reporting capabilities to track agency performance.
- Supervising performance of 3rd party collection agencies, attorneys and in-house recovery collections team; specifically through call monitoring, review of account notation and assessment of overall performance in the form of a score card.
