HR Specialist Part-Time [United States]

This role is an integral member of the HR and Labor Relations’ team. HR at UTA is an energetic team with a customer-centered focus on its employees and business units.

This position will be responsible for maintaining the employee badging system and supporting HR Business Partners (HRBP) in the day-to-day operations including: assisting with the development and implementation of human resource and labor procedures in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, maintaining and updating confidential employee records, assisting with payroll functions and research regarding employee compensation and, ensuring all employee records are processed timely. The position will also aid employees in interpreting and applying UTA Corporate policies and Standard Operating Procedures. Identifying and assessing problems and inefficiencies, researching, and analyzing data, and recommending solutions and improvements.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/TRAINING:

Bachelor’s degree. SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

Two years HR related work experience.

KNOWLEDGE

  • HRIS
  • Microsoft office suite – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Human Resources best practices

Skills:

  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Excellent verbal communicator.
  • Ability to problem solve and think critically.
  • Ability to collect, analyze and interpret information.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow through on tasks.
  • Professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.

This position is onsite.

This job requires regular and predictable attendance.
