More details about this career opportunity kindly see the descriptions. Vice President, Real Estate Duties: Regular and consistent attendance. Gaining extensive knowledge of assigned territory, and keeping ab! reast of all commercial development activities within the assigned territory. Identifying and selecting new theatre development sites within assigned territory consistent with criteria established by the Company. Identifying expansion opportunities within territory and execution of redevelopment strategies for the Company. Establishing professional relationships with developers of commercial real estate. Securing new development opportunities for the Company resulting in new theatres which produce desired results and financial return requirements. Engaging with developers in site planning activities resulting in shopping center configurations that produce optimal visibility, convenient parking for our guest, and access for the new theatre. Coordinating development activity with the Construction Department staff, requiring a general working knowledge of construction processes related to new theatre development. Preparing presentations to Company executives and committees for! discussion and approval of new development opportunities. Wor! king with attorneys and directing the lease drafting and negotiation phases of development. General real estate matters, such as lease modifications, lease extensions, lease negotiations, property dispositions and theatre acquisitions as assigned. Negotiating terms and coordinating retrofits and renovation projects, as assigned. Dispositions, sale or subleasing of all excess real estate within territory as assigned. Training and supervision of Director of Real Estate for the East region. Financial and market analysis for all projects within territory. Board package preparation, including narrative, maps, demographics, project data sheet, project pictures, merchandising plans, site plans, floor plans, and pertinent development information needed to complete the project package. Providing information and support to other departments, as needed. Public speaking engagements such as ground breaking ceremonies, opening ceremonies as directed. Extensive travel is required.
