Description: Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz PC is looking of Payroll Accounting Clerk right now, this vacancy will be assigned in Tennessee. Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell, and Berkowitz, PC has an immediate opening for a payroll accounting clerk in its Memphis office. This position performs a variety of acc! ounting duties, which may include payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing. The candidate will be a part of a team responsible for processing multi-state payroll for over 1600 employee on a 3 cycle payroll. Will maintain contact with attorneys and staff on a daily basis and must observe confidentiality of client and firm matters.
General responsibilities will include:
1. Utilizing computerized accounting, billing, payables and payroll software programs.
2. Generating statements and reports using word processing software.
3. Developing automated spreadsheets.
4. Operating office equipment, including copiers, fax machines, electronic typewriter, computer and 10-key calculator.
Must have experience with Ulti Pro Time and Attendance systems, be detailed orientated, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
