Risk Management Dept - General Liability Claims Adjuster
! This position will require someone with:
- 2 or more years’ work experience
- Minimum 4 year college degree
- Ability to work independently and multitask
- Skills needed to investigate general liability and auto liability claims
- Exceptional communication skills needed to negotiate claims with claimants and attorneys
- The ability to work in a fast paced environment
- A strong attention to detail
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage a general liability and auto liability claims load.
- Experience in “problem-solving†with customers
- The ability to say “no†and deny claims in a professional tone/manner that still communicates Pilot Flying J’s “driver driven†philosophy.
- Ability to travel for mediations/settlement conferences and trials
- Investigation of reported accidents
- Immedia! te response to claims reported by claimants, customers, transp! ortation drivers, as well as attorneys
- Cost effective resolution of claims
- Communication with operators/customers/transportation drivers/attorneys in resolving claims
- Managing and overseeing liability claims load
