Collections Team Lead

Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Description: PAS - Nashville is currently seeking to employ Collections Team Lead right now, this position will be placed in Tennessee. Detailed specification about this position opportunity kindly see the descriptions. Coordinates activities related to daily Collections operations.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Maintain established departmental policies and procedures! , objectives, patient, and customer service policies
• Handle difficult patient and third party follow-up problems
• Review accounts recommended for write-off to ensure accounts have aged as determined by corporate/guidelines
• Review accounts in bankruptcy
• Review agency and attorney performance reports
• Assist team members with questions, concerns, and complaints from insurance companies, patients, and other personnel
• Work as a liaison between team members and RSC staff
• Assist with payroll activities for team members (i.e., time cards, edit sheets)
• Establish working relationships with individuals at insurance companies
• Assist manager with developing team goals and action plans
• Assist with training of new team members
• Practice and adhere to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement”
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Communication - communicates clearly and concisely, ve! rbally and in writing

Interpersonal skills - able to work effectively with other employees, patients and external parties

PC skills - demonstrates proficiency in PC applications as required

Policies & Procedures - demonstrates knowledge and understanding of organizational policies, procedures and systems

Basic skills - able to perform basic mathematical calculations, balance and reconcile figures, punctuate properly, spell correctly and transcribe accurately

EDUCATION

• High school diploma or GED required

EXPERIENCE

• At least one year of collections experience required
• Prior supervisory experience preferred
