This job will have the following responsibilities:
Responsible for all "day ! to day" operations including warehouse and transportation with company drivers
Provides the leadership and management necessary to ensure that the facility has proper operations controls, administrative and reporting procedures, safety compliance, training and people systems in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency.
- This position is responsible for counseling all staff members; achieving corporate goals as established by the senior management team, and ensuring corporate profitability.
- Provides day-to-day leadership and management that mirror the mission and values of the company.
- Leads the location to achieve and surpass operational excellence standards, business goals and objectives.
- Supports the development, formulation, communication and implementation of effective operational strategies, goals, programs and processes.
- Collaborates with the manag! ement team to develop and implement plans for the operational ! infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of the organizations.
- Enhances, develops, implements and enforces policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the company.
- Establishes credibility throughout the location as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges.
- Supports, builds and continues initiatives for improvement in safety, quality, productivity, cost and associate relations.
- Develop budgets for the Operations Department on a yearly basis and monitor monthly.
- Monitor and manage budget review and forecasting.
- Complete required projects and/or reports in an accurate and timely manner.
- Demonstrate initiative in decision-making and problem resolution situations and in the performance of job duties.
- Successfully perform assigned duties within a team ! environment; operate effectively with other departments in duties and assigned projects.
