Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell and Berkowitz, PC has an immediate opening for a Legal Secretary in its Nashville, TN office.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience as a l! egal secretary, have administrative experience, exceptional communication and organization skills, the ability to work effectively within a group or independently, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel and type a minimum of 65 words per minute with high accuracy. The candidate must be a self-starter, detail oriented and able to work well in a fast paced environment. This position will support several attorneys; experience with Health Care Transactions a plus. Responsibilities include preparing legal documents and correspondence, court filings, scanning, coordinating meetings, time entry, digital transcription, running conflicts, opening and maintaining client files, processing client bills and expense reimbursements and assisting in the management of a practice group.
