ECU Title & Escrow, a wholly owned subsidiary of Eastman Credit Union, is seeking a Managing Attorney to ! manage its offices located in Kingsport, Tennessee. Eastman Credit Union is the largest credit union in Tennessee with 22 branches in East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.
About the Job:
The primary role of the Managing Attorney is to provide management and legal representation of ECU Title & Escrow. The Managing Attorney is responsible for all aspects of the business, including employee supervision and development, title examination and issuance of title insurance, closing and escrow.
Required Skills
Who We Need:
The ideal candidate will possess:
License to practice law in Tennessee
A minimum of five years experience in residential and commercial real estate settlement services
A solid foundation in real property contract and consumer law in Tennessee (Virginia experience a plus)
Currently have or eligible to obtain Tennessee and Virginia state title insurance producer license
! Demonstrated ability to lead, negotiate, make decisions and ma! intain good working relationships
Excellent member service skills
Required Experience
Minimum 4 year degree. License to practice law in Tennessee.
