Sony/ATV Music Publishing LLC is seeking to fill the position of Manager, Synchronization Licensing Administration. The candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years of related experience, in a Licensing or Business Affairs capacity, within the music/entertainment industry, or business community. Bachelor’s Degree, with focus in Publishing, Business, Communications, or related field is preferred. Prior management experience is required.

The Manager, Synchronization Licensing Administration will have the following responsibilities:
Draft and manage Synchronization licenses for North America and Latin America markets. Maintain strong customer relationships by meeting or exceeding customer expectations. Collaborate and coordinate with various inter-depar! tmental staff, and the staff of other departments (i.e., Finance, Royalties, Copyright, etc.) to insure departmental and client needs are properly serviced. Liaise with Synchronization Sales staff regarding client disputes and discrepancies pertaining to rights granted. Advise senior management regarding the status of accounts in queue to be licensed, those with past due balances, and those with edit requests that do not coincide with company’s business practices. Assist in the creation and distribution of sales/financial/account aging reports and data. Collection of past due accounts. Execute special projects as requested by senior management.

A qualified candidate must possess the following skills:
Communicate clearly and effectively in writing, via phone, and through formal presentations. Highly organized and detail oriented, while exhibiting the ability to manage and prioritize large volumes of work and meet multiple deadlines. Strong financial and! analytical abilities. Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy whil! e handling multiple tasks and competing priorities. Self-motivated, with the ability to produce high quality work with minimal supervision. Maintain a positive attitude while working in a customer service oriented environment. Ability to contribute to, and work within, a team environment. Must possess leaderships skills while working with management and staff to achieve departmental goals Experience working in a Licensing or Business Affairs capacity within the television/music/entertainment or related industry. Knowledge and Experience working with contracts and negotiations. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with experts from the music/entertainment industry and related business community (including attorneys, senior management, etc.). Strong PC Skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Experience working with pivot tables and formulaic calculations is preferred.
