Summary of Responsibilities
Responsible for assisting with processing new and existing member enrollment eligibility, which includes processing dail! y applications, disenrollment, member plan transfers, address changes, return mail, premium withhold changes, power of attorney documentation, and other member eligibility requests. Reviews and provides assistance to customer service to resolve member inquiries. May process the weekly transaction reply maintenance queues, including demographic corrections. Makes outbound verification calls to members. Ensures all enrollment eligibility is processed and maintained in accordance with Company, CMS, SOX, HIPAA, Internal Audit, departmental guidelines, requirements, regulations, policies, and procedures. .
Requirements
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Excellent written and verbal communication and customer services skills. Strong organization skills. Prior Medicare enrollment and eligibility experience a plus. Knowledge of HIPAA data privacy practices. .
