Corporate Vehicle Services Operations Specialist

Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee

This position is responsible for assisting the Deliver Center Manager in the day to day operation of the Corporate Vehicle Delivery Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The candidate will effectively manage and develop processes, operational support and analysis for monitoring all company owned vehicles in the Chattanooga TN area. This role will monitor the activities of the delivery specialist team, including all corporate deliveries, SGS inspections, and the disposal of vehicles at the end of use. The successful candidate in the position will strive to identify and implement new process improvements and action plans in the spirit of continuous improvement.

Role Responsibilities:
Supervisory work â€" 40%

  • Assist with maintaining a productive, safe and efficient operation of the Corporate Vehicle Chattanooga Delivery Center
  • Interface with management, and report to Headquarter and Manufacturing Management Personnel regarding company car issues, and act as liaison between both sides as necessary
Oversee Vehicle Delivery/Registration/Operation/Vehicle Return â€" 30%
  • Engage in customer deliveries to ensure the accuracy of each legal document (Certificate of Origin, Invoice and Power of Attorney) for proper and legal vehicle deliveries.
  • Define and document the process steps necessary to efficiently process an estimated 3000 to 5000 vehicle deliveries and turn ins annually.
  • Assist in ordering and approving Special Program lease and Assigned vehicles for employees
  • Maintain all service, warranty, in service and surrender procedures for all corporate based company cars
  • Reconcile monthly Not-Yet-In-Service and For Sale reports received from Vehicle Accounting and investigate discrepancies
  • Maintain the eTag Fleet management system as required
  • Research and create the tax, title and license paperwork templates in accordance with Tennessee Department of Motor Vehicles
  • Review and access fees for customer SGS vehicle inspections
  • Communicate SGS vehicle inspection fees to employees
  • Answer any questions and administer the appeal process regarding SGS inspections on employee lease vehicles or payroll deductions for inspection findings
  • Work with VCI to ensure turn in vehicle is grounded or goes to auction to be sold
  • Marshall returned vehicles
Customer Service- 30%

  • Interface with internal groups to work with product evaluation programs
  • Service lease and assigned drivers with vehicle needs
  • Monitor Human Resource reports and be cognizant of vehicles for terminated employees
  • Act as a liaison with the local VW and Audi dealers, as well as local body shop(s) in Chattanooga for all work associated with Corporate Vehicle Services
Experience:
  • 3-5 years Customer Service Experience
  • 5-7 Business Related Experience
  • 5-7 Data Base / Computer Experience
  • Desired: 3-5 years automobile dealership experience
